NatureBox Review: Likes and Dislikes

I've been subscribing to NatureBox for a few months now, and hubby and I have been saving up our empty packages to do a bit of review of what we love, like, and dislike about NatureBox. There really isn't anything we hated; there were a few things I didn't like much, but he ate, and vice versa.

It came time again to customize our box, and we've started to really enjoy the process of sitting down and choosing the items we will have in our box. So we wanted to share our impressions with you!

If you are interested in joining NatureBox, you can use code PGB4M and my link to get $10 off your first month! Here are all of my NatureBox reviews.

My Favorite Naturebox Item
Here's a list of all the things we have tried in the past few months, ranked in three categories. There is a category of stuff we would never get again, but that's not to say that stuff is particularly bad. It's just that the other stuff is better. With NatureBox, we prefer to get unique things we can't find at the store, and whole foods like nuts, seeds and mixes rather than processed things like chips.

Absolute favorites!
South Pacific Plantains One of our all-time favorites and plantain chips are hard to find.
Dark Cocoa Almonds This is the item I dig into first thing when the box comes.
Fancy Dried Figs Unusual for us and usually very expensive
Pear Praline Crunch Like candy but with nuts
Citrus Chipotle Chickpeas Really unique, crunchy
Cherry Berry Bonanza We ate these mixed into cereal and yogurt
Umami Roasted Nuts Great variation on salted nuts
Tuscan Summer Mix Great! Couldn't find this month. Sad face.
Taj Mahal Snack Mix Super unique and tastes great. Curry flavor
Lemon Pucker Pistachios
Reliably Good
Chipotle Maple Almonds wide variety of flavored almonds and all are reliably good.
Sweet Blueberry Almonds
Honey Mesquite Almonds
Chili Lime Pistachios Hubby thought they were too hot, but NOTE: I never got any because he ate them before I had a chance.
Cherry Berry Granola
Vanilla Macaroon Granola This was hubby's fave of the granolas.
Wild Blueberry Flax Granola
Cherry Crumble Granola This granola was more soft, which I loved, but hubby wanted more crunch
Cranberry Jubilee
Tropical Trail Mix All of the trail mixes we have tried have been pretty good.
Harvest Nut Mix Nothing very unique, but makes a great snack at work
Aztec Chia Seed Trail Mix
Blueberry Almond Bites Delicious but didn't last long
Pistachio Power Clusters Really good, hearty nut snack
Seaweeed Rice Pops Hubby loves seaweed snacks. I don't. If you love seaweed snacks, you will like.
OK, but probably won't order again
Whole Wheat Figgy Bars Taste great, but not much value for the money
Whole Wheat Apple Pie Fig Bars Taste great, but not much value for the money
Mighty Mix Value is probably there, but it's not very unique so we won't re-order
Mandarin Garlic Peas Hubby didn't love the garlic flavor
Lemon Meringue Waffles Good flavor but very dry, not worth the $ since you can find these wafers anywhere
Zesta Fiesta Mix
Homestyle Cheddar Mix Crushed up chips glued together? Only for stoners
Sante Fe Corn Stix Glorified Cheetos

  1. The Sante Fe Corn Stix are gluten free and remind me of chili cheese Fritos... Which are not gf...so I am a fan of them, lol. I also love love the Plantain chips! The ranch sunflower seeds are a great tasty snack! I got the garlic pumpkin seeds too, but those I think will be much better suited for a salad topper, lol.

    1. That's a good point- For people who are gluten free or have some other food sensitivities, it might not be as easy to find chips or other snacks at the store!
