Playing with Jellies

I did this mani with Julep Sylvia the other day . . .

. . .  and then coincidentally I received the full line of L'oreal Miss Candy jellies in the mail from eBay. Jellies are sheer polishes that are typically bright colors.

I bought these to use them in nail art, specifically stampwiches. But first, as all beautiful manis do, Sylvia was starting to chip, so I decided to play around with the jellies before I took it off. I put one coat of five different jellies on one hand, and two coats of the same jellies over the other hand.

I love how the jellies ad a subtle difference to Sylvia but there is still a purple tint to each nail, especially in the one-coat photo. It just adds to the possibilities for layering and making up colors.

I labeled them on one photo with their numbers, and here are the colors and then their "offical" names:
600 - Red - Jolly Lolly
604 - Blue - Miss Pixie
605 - Pink - Bubble Trouble
606 - Lilac - Lilac Coolers
607 - Grape - Berry Nice

They are in this order in the photo above too, just leave out the orange, yellow, and green.
