DermOrganic Skin and Hair Products

I was sent a couple of samplers by DermOrganic to review.  The range of products included hair products and skin products. These were all pretty good products!

Hair and Skin samplers from DermOrganics
DermOrganic is vegan and not tested on animals. Here's some more DermOrganic has to say about their products (from their website):
"DermOrganic® formulations are based around naturally-derived ingredients that replicate the elements hair and skin use inside to replenish, refresh and maintain their youthful vigor from the outside.
The addition of Argan Oil in the Hair Care regimen (and Argan Extract in the Skin Care) provides additional benefits of Vitamin E and Linoleic acid to protect and moisturize.
Our regimen is based on the simple idea that less is more. Only the finest, most essential and fully researched ingredients go into our formulas. The results are youthful-looking hair & skin every day."
DermOrganic Hair Products
Argan Oil is a huge buzzword in hair care right now, so I was interested to try these products. The shampoo is really nice- it's quite thick and foams up nicely. The masque seems more like a regular conditioner to me than a masque- I've used masques that were much more conditioning. However, if you just use it as a regular conditioner, it works great.

Last, there is an Argan Oil leave-in treatment, which I was pretty skeptical about, since I have fine, straight hair and any kind of oil tends to weigh it down. I tried it on Sunday without blowdrying, and my hair wasn't exactly greasy, but it was weighed down a little. However, on Monday, I just put a couple of drops in and blew my hair dry, and it worked great! My hair is really moisturized but not greasy, and it helped keep it from drying out while styling.

DermOrganic Face and Body Products
On to the face and body products. I used the "Soapless Facial Cleanser" to wash my face in the shower in the morning as well as to remove makeup in the evening. I have zero clue what it means to be "soapless," but this stuff works pretty well. I've been sort of lazily looking for a daily replacement for Philosophy Purity Made Simple, which kind of dries out my skin, and I might have found it here. I'm going to make sure to use this daily until the sample runs out and see if my skin fares a little better with it than with the Purity.

Last, the moisturizers - I received both a face and body moisturizer. They work just fine, but what is the most impressive about them is the complete lack of fragrance. I've used a LOT of "unscented" products that still had some kind of mild scent. But these are completely fragrance-free. I know quite a few people who have fragrance allergies, and these would be perfect for them. I don't mind fragrance, but I like to wear perfume, so if I have lotion on that conflicts with the perfume, that's a problem!

Overall, I really liked these products, and honestly I didn't expect to. A lot of samples pass through my life because of the shopping and sampling I do, and I tend to be kind of jaded about claims around buzzword products. But I am pleasantly surprised here! The DermOrganic spokesperson told me you can request samples at if you would like to try these out for yourself.
