The Cat in the Window Book Review

OK, so I am a total cat lady. Let's get that out of the way up front. I have three cats, and I volunteered on the board of a cat rescue for a couple of years. There's something really special about the little guys. The Cat in the Window: And Other Stories of the Cats We Love is a light-reading type of book, and I don't normally review this type of book. But since it is about my fave little animal, I made an exception.

This is a collection of anecdotes, a few pages each, from a variety of cat lovers. This is the type of thing you read to relax, on a plane, or if you are having a sick day.  All cat lovers know that cats are amazing creatures. One cat in this book saved his human's life! Many helped their humans through very dark times. There are rescue stories and stories of loss. It's a really enjoyable read. With Christmas coming up, it might even be a good gift for the cat lover in your life. Cat lovers are often book lovers too!

When I am reading the books you see me reviewing here, there is often a little guy snuggled up next to me in bed or on the sofa. All three give this book a definite thumbs up!
