Halloween Manicure

This week's Challenge theme in Adventures in Stamping is "Halloween." I've been wanting to try these spiders for a long time, and this is the only time of year I can do it!
Happy Halloween!
Photo prop: Edgar Allan Poe coaster by Etsy seller thepaintedlily - They do still sell these in their shop, and I think they do custom orders. I have had these coasters for a few years and they have held up beautifully.

Manicure process (tools and polishes pictured below:
  • Base color: Revlon Top Speed Hazy, two coats. Top Speed is a quick-dry polish.
  • Stamped with Sally Hansen Xtreme Black Out
  • Plate used: Mash 38
  • After stamps have dried, one nail at a time, apply a layer of Seche Vite, then quickly add black rhinestones with Mash tweezers before moving on to the next nail.
Usually when you adhere rhinestones with top coat, the general wisdom is to then apply a second layer of top coat over the top, but I think it dulls the rhinestones, so for this time I am not doing that. I will see how they last.
